Our Board

The Board of Directors of the Economic and Social Empowerment of Rural Communities (ESERC) provides strategic leadership, governance, and oversight to ensure the organization remains accountable, transparent, and effective in fulfilling its mission. The Board is composed of seasoned professionals with diverse expertise in public health, gender equality, humanitarian response, legal practice, pediatrics, economic development, and community empowerment.

Role of the Board in ESERC’s Governance:

    Oversees ESERC’s financial planning and management, ensuring accountability and transparency in line with donor expectations and legal requirements.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation:
    Reviews program reports and impact assessments, and advises on adaptive strategies for improved performance and learning.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    Strengthens relationships with donors, government agencies, development partners, and community stakeholders to enhance ESERC’s credibility and influence.
  • Risk Management and Compliance:
    Identifies operational and strategic risks, ensuring mitigation plans are in place to safeguard the organization’s reputation and sustainability.
