ESERC’s multi-sectoral approach has been instrumental in promoting strong ownership and long-term sustainability. This is evident in the continued effectiveness of the Ebonyi State GBV Taskforce, which has remained active for over two years following the conclusion of the EU-UN Spotlight Initiative.
Similarly, the Enugu State GBV Taskforce has sustained its momentum and continues to play a vital role in combating gender-based violence, even after the close of the FEF-OSC project.
The lesson is clear: when stakeholders are fully engaged and systems are strengthened, impact endures.
